WHAT SIZE PACKAGE DO I NEED?

Sand Taxi determines your package size and price by the number of items being transported.

Example One: 3 chairs, 1 beach bag, and 1 umbrella (5 items) would qualify for the Small Package. 

Example Two: 2 Chairs, 2 Bags, and 2 Umbrellas (6 items) would qualify for the Large Package. 

The Large package is capped at 12 items, any additional items wished to be transported will need to be added to an additional small package and purchased in advance.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON THE DAY OF MY SERVICE?

Sand Taxi's Weather Policy is to cease operation in unsafe inclement conditions. Sand Taxi will analyze the local forecast and make a decision whether to operate for the day. You will be notified via text after a decision has been made. If your service is cancelled due to inclement weather you will be credited with a "rain check" date of your choosing for the size package that was cancelled. Sand Taxi has the sole discretion in decision making as the weather in

Ocean City can be unpredictable.

WILL MY GEAR BE OK BETWEEN THE TIME SAND TAXI SETS UP AND WHEN I ARRIVE AT THE BEACH?

Sand Taxi will minimize the amount of time your gear is unattended by clearly communicating when your gear is picked up and returned. You are welcome to accompany our associate to the beach and supervise your gear, but our operations & timing varies and could possibly be inconvenient for you. Do not provide the associate with any gear you are not comfortable leaving unattended.

DO I HAVE TO BE PRESENT DURING

PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF?

Nope, just sit back & relax! You are welcome to greet your Sand Taxi Associate when they are picking up and dropping off your gear (they graciously appreciate tips!), but if you would rather sleep in or have other plans, you may leave your gear accessible to them and await the notification that your set-up or drop-off is complete. Contactless beach service!

HOW WILL I KNOW WHERE MY BEACH GEAR IS?

A Sand Taxi Associate will notify you via text with a description of the exact location of your gear once it is transported. At booking you will notify us of your preferred beach location.

WHAT IF I HAVE MY OWN BEACH CART?

Sand Taxi Associates have their own beach carts to pack and transport your gear to your preferred beach location.
